This privacy policy is intended to inform users of this website in accordance with

Federal Data Protection Act and Telemedia Act on the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator louiselouise Beauty GmbH.

louiselouise Beauty GmbH takes your data protection very seriously and treats your personal data

personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Please bear in mind that data transmission over the Internet can always be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection against access by third parties cannot be realised.


Access data


louiselouise Beauty GmbH collects data about access to the site and saves it as "server log files". The following data is logged in this way

The legal basis for processing the IP address is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes of data collection listed below. At this point, please note that we are not able to draw any direct conclusions about your identity from the data collected, nor do we do so.

The IP address of your end device and the other data listed above are used by us for the following purposes 

- Ensuring a smooth connection setup,

- Ensuring convenient use of our website/application,

- Analysing system security and stability.

The data is stored for a period of 7 days, after which the IP address is automatically deleted. For security reasons, we store this information in log files for even longer, but without your IP address, and delete it after 31 days. The data in the log files is stored separately from other data about you.

In order to be able to place orders via this offer, every customer must create a

set up a password-protected customer account. This contains an overview of

orders placed and active order processes. If you leave the online shop as a customer, you will be automatically logged out.

Louiselouise Beauty accepts no liability for password misuse, unless this was caused by the operator.


Ordering process


The purpose of louiselouise Beauty GmbH is the distance selling of goods and services and the serial production of the goods on offer. 

In this context, we process the data required for the conclusion, performance or termination of a contract between you and louiselouise Beauty. This includes:

- First name, surname, title, salutation

- Billing and delivery address, address supplement if applicable

- Packstation and DHL customer number

- e-mail address

- Billing and payment data

- Company and VAT ID

- Date of birth

- Telephone number, if applicable

We will pass on the necessary payment data to Shopify International Limited, a private company limited by shares, incorporated in Ireland under registration number 560279, with its registered offices located at 2nd Floor Victoria Buildings, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland, VAT number IE 3347697KH and its website is at https://www.shopify.com/.

Shopify is also commissioned to process credit card payments. All credit card details are entered directly into the system of Shopify and cannot be read or saved by us.


Payments via PayPal are processed via the payment service provider PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg). All payment data is entered directly into the PayPal system and cannot be read or saved by us. For payment processing, we transmit your name, your invoice amount and your delivery address to PayPal if you have opted for this payment method. Without the transmission of your personal data, we cannot process a payment via PayPal, but you can choose another payment method. We pass on details of your delivery address to a logistics company commissioned by us for the purpose of processing the purchase contract. If the goods are not shipped by louiselouise Beauty but by a louiselouise Beauty partner, we will pass on details of your delivery address and the necessary order data to this partner. 


In order to ensure that the goods are delivered in accordance with your wishes, we use your e-mail address to contact you in advance of delivery to inform you of the time of delivery. 


The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, i.e. you provide us with the data on the basis of the contractual relationship between you and us.


Insofar as we do not use your contact data for advertising purposes (see below), we store the data collected for contract processing until the expiry of the statutory or possible contractual warranty and guarantee rights. After expiry of this period, we retain the information required under commercial and tax law relating to the contractual relationship for the periods specified by law. For this period (regularly ten years from the conclusion of the contract), the data is processed again solely in the event of a review by the tax authorities.


Data processing for advertising purposes


The following explanations relate to the processing of personal data for advertising purposes. The GDPR declares such data processing on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) as conceivable in principle and as a legitimate interest. The duration of data storage for advertising purposes does not follow any rigid principles and is based on the question of whether storage is necessary for advertising purposes.


Advertising purposes of louiselouise Beauty GmbH and third parties


If you have concluded a contract with us, we will treat you as an existing customer. In this case, we will process your postal contact details without your specific consent in order to send you information about new products and services. We process your email address in order to send you information about new products and services outside the existence of specific consent. You can object to this service in the checkout at the time of ordering or in any customer information at the end of the information.

Interest-based advertising


We categorise and add further information to your customer profile so that you only receive advertising information that is supposedly of interest to you. Both statistical information and information about you personally (e.g. basic data from your beauty profile in the "My Douglas" area) are used for this purpose. The aim is to send you advertising based solely on your actual or perceived needs and not to bother you with unnecessary advertising. Your address and order data will be processed by us for our own marketing purposes.


Right to object


You can object to data processing for the aforementioned purposes at any time free of charge, separately for the respective communication channel and with effect for the future. All you need to do is send an email or a letter by post to the contact details above. 

If you file an objection, the contact address concerned will be blocked for further advertising data processing. We would like to point out that in exceptional cases, advertising material may still be sent temporarily even after your objection has been received. This is technically due to the necessary lead time for advertisements and does not mean that we will not implement your objection. Thank you for your understanding.


Handling of contact data
